Urgent Appeal for Volunteers to help run our Branch

We are now seeking a number of like-minded people to join the committee that runs Somerset Branch of CAMRA. If you would like to express an interest in any of these roles then please contact Katie Redgate, our branch contact. We will supply you with all the necessary information, advice and support you might need to help you decide how you might get involved. Most roles are not particularly demanding and all involve a good social element, making the commitment fun and rewarding.

CAMRA Somerset Branch needs YOU

How about getting more involved in the running of your local branch? There are several vacancies on the committee and we need people to make things happen, such as doing the groundwork for the annual Beer Festival.

If you can spare a bit of time, or can offer any knowledge or expertise then come along to the next Branch Meeting (see Branch Diary page) or contact our Branch Contact - Katie Redgate (see Contacts page).

We also need your help to keep our What Pub database up-to-date and fully comprehensive. See the WHAT PUB (LOCAL) page to see how you can help by supplying information, photographs and beer ratings.

Do you want to be on a tasting panel?

We are looking to build a pool of 20 or 30 members to call on to be available to do tasting panels. This will not only be for Somerset but across the region or even further if you are willing!

There will training available from a one day tasting course to getting trained up as a trained trainer. This is so that the people who take the taste training course can get an independently verified certificate

So whether you are a complete novice or a seasoned taster we would love to hear from you.
