Wetherspoon pub and hotel situated in the town square. First opened in 1820 as a traditional coaching inn and posting house. Normally the guest ales are from local breweries and with a high turnover of the six or seven ales this which usually ensures good quality! Also stocks at least two local real ciders. Food is extensive and good for the price offered.
