An outstanding pub serving eight to ten regional ales on gravity alongside many bottled beers and four real ciders. The inside is traditional with flagstone flooring, old solid wooden tables and benches and three real fires. Its has also been in the Guide for over 30 years and gaining the ultimate award of National Pub of the Year in 1996.
