Husband & wife team Alasdair & Victoria Collins took over the reins in June 2018 and have created a restaurant & pub that is both casual and contemporary. The hamstone pub can be found in the centre of the village opposite the 13th Century church. The village is home to National Trust property Barrington Court, noted for its famous gardens and oak panel carvings. The kitchen is run by Alasdair who grew up locally & has over ten years experience working in MICHELIN-starred restuarants inluding Chez Bruce & The Glasshouse! The Barrington Boar features in the 2024 Top 50 Gastropubs, the MICHELIN Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2023, Harden's Guide & Trenchman's Guide! The restaurant menu features focuses on locally sourced, seaonal ingredients from farmers, foragers, brewers & cheesemongers. The pub is fully stocked with South West produce and has a selection of local ales, ciders and craft ales plus a range of gins and English sparkling wines.
